Collin County still needs a few volunteers to help with voter distribution
Working with a friend or relative in teams of two (preferable), this event will be a two- to three-hour block of your time on the weekend of Oct. 10 You will pick up your supplies
The task is quite simple: deliver an postcard and slate cards to voters in high density South Asian neighborhoods.
This is a "no contact" event -- do not knock on the door or ring the doorbell. You do NOT need to be: a citizen, 18 years of age (but you should get parental permission if you are younger than that), or South Asian-American. You just need to want to register people to vote in the November election, and a means to transportation to get to the neighborhood you will be assigned!
After you sign up, you will be contacted by one of the Program Coordinators or your County Coordinator.
