SOUTH ASIAN AMERICAN VOTER EMPOWERMENT
The record-breaking turnout of the South Asian vote was pivotal in determining the 2020 election outcomes. Data indicates that South Asian voters were crucial in races across Texas. SAAVETX is a grassroots effort leading the largest South Asian outreach in the state of Texas. SAAVETX was an instrumental part of this historic effort. Driven by our mission to build South Asian political power, we ran innovative and multi-pronged campaigns to engage voters in key districts across Texas. For too long we have been overlooked and underrepresented. Our army of volunteers strengthened local infrastructure expanding our political consciousness by educating and empowering our electorate. Our year round activities over the last four years have proven to Texas we are a trusted proven community partner in mobilizing South Asians. We are a political force that cannot be ignored.
